  1. I love how fun and easy you make it look. Not always easy though! You patience and passion to succeed is really inspiring! 🙂 Thank you for offering these really awesome videos, they are so, so very helpful to me!

  2. These training sessions are on point…love the easy and no pressure steps to training your dog.

  3. My new puppy just did her first perfect lie down on command today! I have also taught her sit, come, wait for her food, stay near the house, and a few other things. I have taught her not to bite or jump too. I love this channel and I have used a lot of the training methods in these videos to train my two dogs!

  4. I swear, that dog talks to his other dog friends, saying “Watch this. I can make this guy run around the whole yard and give ME treats!” Lol but this is awesome.

  6. We just got an 8 week old golden retriever yesterday! This video is very helpful in training him.

  7. This was super helpful and extremely effective with my 5-month-old pup! I’m delightfully surprised how fast he’s advancing. Thanks so much and good luck to all the trainers out there!

  8. angie hassinger my friend has a golden retriever, he’s a great dog and he’s even in pets at home magazines and on the website (he’s the golden retriever on the pictures of the how to groom your dog section) but he’s such an idiot! 😂 his nickname is literally spaghetti because he acts like it 😂🥰

  9. I always have trouble getting my dog to stay when he can’t see me but I’ll try to fix that next training session. Thanks for the vids Zak, they’re super helpful.

  10. I’ve been watching dog training videos for the last few days and something about the way you teach makes it very enjoyable to watch and want to learn. (Apparently for both me and the dog you are training, lol.) Very glad I happened to click on this. I am now excited to teach my dog new tricks and I look forward to watching your other videos. 😃

  11. What a great video! You are really down to earth and not pretentious at all. I really appreciated your presentation. I just got an 8 week old puppy. So far he’s done pretty good with “sit” and “come”. We’re about to try “stay”. Thank you for your time and effort in showing us how to do this. 🙂

  12. I watched your video and tried this on my puppy, and amazingly he picked up this command really well. He does still get easily distracted but he’s learning to listen to me more and his distractions are becoming less of an issue the more I teach him. Thank you for sharing this teaching video!

  13. I also have a Goldie he is 4 months old named Coco.He is really naughty but is learning things fast. I got him on my birthday this quarantine

  14. My puppy already knows to sit but to stay, that was hard. I was surprised that it actually worked. The short distance, and then keep going further, was effective on my very active lab. Great job on the training!

  15. *Brandon makes me think real hard about my life **purpose. As** a huge foreign fan of ” **** Dog” TV series I bought this book as a support. But the part that Brandon wrote about how he become a trainer of homeless dogs makes me cry. It wakes me up and force me to think hard about what I’m doing in my life right now.He was willing to risk his job for what he believed : every homeless dog must have hope and a home. He committed to his promise that he would help saving lives. He never gave up and willing to sacrifice his secure career for it. That part alone changed my life, not even mention all dogs’ stories he told throughout the book. They are all inspirational.*

  16. My pup don’t like to listen to me he only sits but ignores lie down come , down or any command at all

  17. You may not be able to help them all, but if you’re able to help one you should. I took in two stray cats and one stray dog while working in Iraq and brought them home to the US with me. Nearly went broke doing it but I’d never take it back for the world because they’re my fur children.

  18. Love these videos! Training puppies takes so much patience and your positive attitude in your videos always helps me feel ready to tackle more training with my pup.

  19. Thank you so much! I’m going to try this with my 3 month old puppy. “Stay” is what I’ve been having the most trouble with but this makes it seem pretty easy!

  20. *This book is exactly as presented. I am thoroughly enjoying all of the narratives and the lessons. A great book **** and investment in my dogs!*

  21. Question: Is it a bad idea to release the stay with a “come” command to cover both concepts in a single training? Or would that be too much and reduce the effectiveness of both trainings? Love your videos!

  22. I just taught my dog to sit and stay for 8 seconds! Training her for more duration this week! Thank you for the easy to learn how to train my dog to stay 😍😍
