Elden Ring screenshots show mounted combat, a strange ritual, and more – Gamesradar

Here are brand-new images from @ELDENRING I ensured #gamescom wasnt over yet … Earlier today @fromsoftware_pr kindly showed me and a couple of others over 16 minutes of raw gameplay video footage on PC. Video video game is on track for January 21, 2022 release.

Other images in the set reveal a hero rushing into fight versus a huge spellcaster while dual-wielding what looks to be a rapier and some sort of wooden-hafted weapon; a collared supplicant practicing a magic routine at an altar surrounded by human bones; and a set of dreadful, robotic-looking enemies who have big chained blades instead of arms. You understand, the typical frightening yet stunning FromSoftware things.

A set of brand-new Elden Ring screenshots are making the rounds after FromSoftware briefly drew back the curtain on its fiercely prepared for open-world action video game.

Gamescom Opening Night Live producer and host Geoff Keighley (among others) shared the pictures previously today, offering us a fresh look at various formerly hidden components of the video game. Among the most striking images illustrates an example of installed battle – with the hero seated atop their horse, wielding a twin-bladed polearm as they deal with down a scary dragon. The waxing moon and a weird bright tree cast ethereal light over the nocturnal scene, lending the whole image a fantastical vibe that wouldnt be out of place in an especially well-crafted blacklight poster.

Unfortunately, the new screenshots have in fact not been accompanied by any brand-new public gameplay video footage of Elden Ring in action, so well simply have to envision what all of this appears like in action. Keighley did remember that Elden Ring is still “on track” for its formerly announced release date of January 21, 2022.

FromSoftware has actually likewise verified that youll have the capability to use Elden Ring fast travel from nearly anywhere on the map, which its not simply produced “hardened veterans” of its previous video games.
